Always on the hunt for the ultimate burger, I couldn’t resist trying this version, which combines my love of bitters with a burger. I was curious – do bitters make a better burger? Nope. They don’t.
These aren’t bad, but the burger is more akin to a meatloaf than a burger, with breadcrumbs and egg in the mix. I’m not done experimenting with bitters in the kitchen, but I think they’re lost in a burger. You know what makes for a great burger? Great ingredients, and not making them more complicated than they need to be.
